Instructions for students
Students who completed their programs in Academic Year 1819 University examinations are eligible for award of Degree.
Provide complete and correct postal address on which Degree can be dispatched through registered post. (For applied In Absentia)

Latest Passport Size Photo (soft copy) (to be print on Degree Certificate)
Keep acknowledgement receipt SMS/EMAIL with you for record.
Students can apply for receiving Degree Certificate either in person or in absentia.
Only the students, who confirm their participation in Person, will be permitted to participate in the Convocation
Male : White Shirt, Dark Pant, with a tie
Female : Saree / Chudidar
All the student participants of the Convocation will have to wear a convocation dress, which have been specially designed for Marwadi University. The University has made arrangements to get these dress prepared.
The Convocation dress will be available in two sizes (medium-44 inch / large-52 inch). During online confirmation, please indicate the size of the gown required by you.
Please note that the students are required to pay convocation fees during online confirmation as decided by the University.
Students who have already paid convocation fees through deposit amount or any other mode are required to complete registration process as per mentioned above and no need to pay fees again.
The date for the rehearsal and dress-rehearsal of the convocation will be announced soon.
Students may be accompanied by parents/guardians. Online confirmation will be required for the same. The required number of acknowledgement receipt/passes for this purpose will be generated after online registration procedure.
The students who are not able to attend the convocation or who have applied for in absentia will receive their degree certificates on the address provided at the time of registration for Convocation.
Rules for Awarding
At the Annual Convocation or any other convocation, the following rules for awarding the academic medal(s) will apply to all the medal contenders of all courses:
The student who has highest CGPA and has passed all the semester exams without any backlog (with first attempt in all the examinations) shall be considered for the medal.
“For all Courses, where duration of the course is more than 2 years, CGPA of last four semester’s performance in the exams will be considered.”
Medal shall be awarded to the student who has secured 1st position in the respective degree program. Further, the CGPA of the 1st rank must be 7 or more on 10 scale.
Medal shall be awarded to the student who has cleared all exams, that is
He/she has not obtained any backlog in any of the semester of the course in any of the examination component (E or I or V or T).
Students with a record of Detained, Absent, Fail or Drop/Semester Gap in any course of examination shall not be considered for medal.
If CGPA of two students or more is equal, scores of End Semester theory & practical exams (as per applicable) of last semester shall be considered for determining the eligibility for the medal.
If the marks as per criteria 4 are equal, scores of End Semester theory & practical exams (as per applicable) of last FOUR semesters shall be considered for determining the eligibility for the medal.
